Vendor Spotlight | McGough Creations | Handmade Jewelry in Downtown Denison, Tx

Today we wanted to highlight Heather McGough of McGough Creations! Heather hand makes these beautiful pieces of jewelry. McGough Creations started officially on October 6th 2018, and debuted at the Fall Festival in Downtown Denison. She has always loved and enjoyed making things as well as being creative! Initially, Heather began making jewelry to match her own outfits so that she would have something that is not only great quality, but also one of a kind. Soon, people began to take interest! She had a great response from everyone who saw her jewelry and that is when she decided to start her own business. She wanted everyone to have an opportunity to be able to buy a piece of jewelry that will be unique and great quality for years to come. Her favorite part of owning a business is helping people and animals with part of the proceeds from her sales as well as seeing the joy that comes from my customers when they wear a beautiful piece of her collection. When asked what her advice to budding entrepreneurs would be, she responded, “My advice is to first get your sales tax permit. Then make sure you promote your product as well as wear it, but most of all to find a wonderful store like 410 Collective to rent a space so that more people can see your product and to get to know you more as an artist. I am so grateful for 410 Collective for giving me the opportunity to share my story and amazing jewelry.”

We are truly the lucky ones to have such amazing vendors! Thank you to much, Heather!
