Echeveria | Succulent Saturday

Happy Saturday everyone!! This is a great day indeed because we were able to OPEN up to shoppers once more!! We missed seeing everyone so much! Today we will be talking about one my favorite succulents, Echeveria! This plant is a little bit more of a challenge, but its beauty makes it worth it.

Light: Bright indirect light. Indoors in a sunny window or outdoors in partial or full sun.

Water: Let this plant dry out before watering again. Ideally every weeks or so. Cut back to watering every other week in the winter. Do not let water collect in the rosette.

Temperatures: These plants can grow indoors and prefer 60-75 degrees.

Fertilizer: Feed your Echeveria every month in the spring and summer with cactus fertilizer or our “succy food.”

Repotting: These plants can grow relatively quickly in the right conditions. If placed outside in partial sun, this plant can grow 6-8 inches in a year!

Toxicity: This plant is not toxic to humans or pets but it is certainly not advised to eat them.

Echeveria is such a fun plant to own but does require extra care, such as placing outside in the summer, repotting, and careful watering. Thanks for reading! We will see ya’ll next Saturday!
